Q: How much does it cost to rent a margarita machine from Margaritas 2 You?

$185. This includes delivery, pick-up (in most of Ventura County), 1 bottle of frozen drink mix and use of our 5-gallon pre-measured mixing container. Additional margarita mix is $25 and refundable if unopened. Ask about our booking early and social media discounts.

Q: Are the machines easy to use?

Yes! We show you how to mix your first batch and how to operate the machine. Our mixing container is clearly labeled, making it easy to make a batch. NO ICE is needed. Once you pour your batch into the machine, your guests can easily pour their own drinks and you can enjoy the party! Once the “MIX LOW” light comes on, you can make your next batch, pour and enjoy! No waiting for another 15 min if you add the additional batch to the machine when the “MIX LOW” light turns on.

Q: How many drinks does one batch yield?

Our mix makes approximately a 3-gallon batch after you add the alcohol. Each batch will typically yield about 40 drinks per batch. Our mix is a VERY low water to mix ratio (3:1), which gives you more fruit in each drink. Some competitors use a higher ratio mix such as 4:1 or 5:1 which will make 50-70 drinks per batch. Keep in mind…the lower the ratio, the more real fruit in the mix. If you are looking for quality, stay away from drink mixes that make 4-5 gallons at a time.

Our machine will hold about 1 batch at a time. From experience, approximately half of your guests drink the frozen drinks, even if you offer other choices. We recommend one batch for every 25 frozen beverage drinkers. Extra margarita mix is $25 and refundable if unopened.

Q: How long does the first batch take to freeze?

Indoors it only takes about 20 minutes! Other machines take as long as 45+minutes and you have to wait until all the mix gone before you can pour another batch. On a warm sunny day, our machine takes approximately 30 min in the sun. There is no waiting between batches because you pour the batch to the top reservoir when a mix-low light comes on.

Q: Who provides the liquor and how much will I need?

The customer provides all liquor. A medium strength batch of margaritas
calls for 1.75 liters tequila.

Q: Are other kinds of drinks available?

Yes!!! You can serve Strawberry Daiquiris, Strawberry Margaritas, Rum Runners, Piña Coladas and Blue Raspberry. All mixes can be made without alcohol FOR KIDS!

Q: How far in advance should I reserve my machine?

We recommend booking two weeks in advance. For the summer and holidays, we recommend booking 30 days in advance to guarantee availability. One machine will deliver frozen drinks for up to 65 frozen beverage drinkers. If more guests are expected, a second machine is strongly recommended for the machine(s) to work properly.
